Department and technologies

Cutting department

The cutting department consists of 13 machines: 2 for laser cutting and 11 blade sawing-machines (of which 2 with a washing machine). The machines available are suitable for different tube cutting lengths with a range between a minimum diameter of 8 mm and a maximum of 150 mm and with a maximum cutting length up to 4.500 mm for blade cutting and up to 7.000 mm for laser cutting.
Moreover with a special equipment for brushing, inside blowing and washing tubes.

Bending, pressing and tapering Departments

The wide range of metalworking machines available, close studies and the long experience enable the company to meet the needs of the most demanding customers by means of any kind of metal working related to bending, flattening, drilling and PALETTATURA.
Tube moulding machines, tube tapering machines, presses and oleodynamic equipments are available.

Welding department

This department is for welding carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium tubes. In a perfect combination of precise projection pointers, highly technological automated areas for mass-production and reliable qualified personnel to get the best working result, perfect in every detail.

Painting department

The painting department consists of three colour rooms on a surface of 3.000 covered square meters. Another 3000 square meters outside belong to the same area, which coincides with the former company premises.

The powder painting process is carried out inside this department.

Raw material and finished product warehouse

Motta & Rossi has a 1000 square meter warehouse where raw materials are stored in order and codified in a very precise manner.

Goods are moved to the cutting lines by means of bridge trolleys that can move material up to 5 tons each.

Another 1000 square meters of the new plant are for the storage of the finished product ready for delivery and fully codified for traceability reasons.
